Overview
Staff Glance is a modern employee in/out board that displays organization-wide staff availability at a glance. It works as a standalone web-based solution or with optional Microsoft 365 integrations including Teams presence sync, Calendar visibility, and Entra ID sign-in.
The board supports multiple availability states including workplace options (In Office, Remote, Out of Office), temporary availability (Away, On Break, At Lunch, In Meeting, Do Not Disturb), and extended absence (On Vacation, Out Sick, On Call, Custom statuses). Employees can normally update their own status, with optional admin controls to lock statuses when needed.
Staff Glance replaces manual paper signs and spreadsheets with real-time status updates. It offers multiple board views including card layout for scanning employee details, table layout for compact row-based presentation, and pill layout for quick availability checks. The board can be organized by status, department, or location with department visibility controls.

- No. Staff Glance works as a digital employee in/out board with or without Microsoft Teams. Teams presence sync, Calendar Snapshot, and Entra ID SSO are optional for organizations already using Microsoft 365.
- How does the free trial work?
- Start free with up to 5 users forever with no credit card required. When you need more capacity, choose a paid plan and get a 30-day free trial with up to 50 users, then subscribe to continue on that plan.
- Who can update an employee status?
- Employees can normally update their own status unless an authorized Company Admin or Department Admin has locked it. Updates for another employee depend on the permissions and department scope assigned to Managers, Department Admins, and Company Admins.
