LightScroll is a screen time management app designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that helps you control access to distracting apps and websites. You set up Controls for specific targets, define when protection applies, and choose how much time to allow. Before accessing a controlled target, you encounter Friction—a deliberate pause featuring mini-games, breathing exercises, or waits that interrupt autopilot and help you choose whether to continue. If you reach your limit, an Override lets you regain access by taking intentional action, such as waiting or asking an accountability partner for approval. You can build momentum through streaks and XP, add friends to compare progress and encourage each other, and use features like Hardcore Mode to lock down your Controls against impulsive changes.

- LightScroll is designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Protection uses Apple Screen Time on iPhone and iPad, while Mac Controls work with supported browsers and local Automation access.
- What's the difference between a Friction and an Override?
- A Friction is a deliberate requirement that grants an Allowed session without recording a streak miss. An Override is a consequential way through a Control, and using one records a streak miss.
- What information stays on my device?
- Raw Screen Time data, browser history, Control signatures, detailed activity history, and ordinary target selections stay on your device. Controls, enforcement, Allowed sessions, Overrides, and detailed streak history are also processed locally.
