A look at agdir.email

agdir.email is a transactional email API that maintains full compatibility with Resend SDKs, allowing developers to switch infrastructure with only a base URL change. The service is hosted in the EU, specifically in Stockholm's Amazon SES infrastructure (eu-north-1), operated by Norwegian company Agdir Drift AS.

The platform includes official SDK support, custom DKIM per domain with Cloudflare DNS integration, event tracking and webhooks for delivery status (delivered, bounced, complained, opened, clicked), and an MCP server for AI agents. SMTP relay is coming soon.

Data stays within the EU/EEA throughout processing and storage. The service is currently in public beta with pricing in euros, offering a free tier with 3,000 emails monthly, and paid Pro and Scale plans with higher volumes and features.
