Tip'd is free to download and use with no ads and no account. Logging shifts, stats, trends and goals never cost anything. The only optional purchase is Tip'd Widget Pack, a monthly subscription for Home Screen widgets that you can cancel anytime in Apple Account settings.

What about host shifts with no tips?

A zero-tip shift is fine to log. You enter your hours and Tip'd counts the hourly pay for that position, so hosting days still show up in your week and contribute to your real hourly average.

Will my data carry over to a new phone?

Yes. Tip'd saves to your own iCloud, so when you sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled on a new phone, your jobs, shifts, paychecks and goals come back automatically. Give it a few minutes to sync.

Can I change my week to match my pay week?

Yes. In Settings under Week starts on you can choose which day your week begins, and your other devices will follow the same setting, so shifts land in the same weeks everywhere.

How is real hourly with tips calculated?

For shifts with recorded hours, Tip'd adds tips kept after tip-outs and hourly wages, then divides those earnings by the hours worked. Money logged with zero hours still counts in your earnings but doesn't affect your hourly average. Weekly and monthly averages only use finished weeks and months.
