Brier
A decision journal that grades you
Log decisions with your reasoning and confidence score. Brier reminds you when it's time to check back, then shows your calibration curve.
Overview

A look at brier.ink
Brier is a decision journal that helps you track your judgment over time. You log each decision with your reasoning and a confidence score, then Brier reminds you when it's time to check what actually happened. The app computes your calibration curve—a chart showing how your stated confidence compares to your actual accuracy—revealing where your gut is reliable and where it flatters you.
The tool is built for follow-through: it sends email reminders years later when decisions are due for grading, preserves your original reasoning to prevent hindsight bias, and keeps your entries private with row-level database security. Your data belongs to you and can be exported as a spreadsheet at any time.
Brier is named after the Brier score, invented in 1950 by Glenn Brier. This metric is used by meteorologists, intelligence analysts, and superforecasters—graded not on confidence but on whether their confidence matches reality.
