Claim your listing and obtain Verified status
Establish ownership of your listing by proving domain control through one of four verification methods.

Claim ownership
Navigate to your listing and select "Claim", or go directly to /claim/<listing>. You'll be prompted to prove control of the company domain via one of these methods:
- Email verification: we send a verification link to an inbox at your domain
- DNS TXT record: add a record to your root domain
- Meta tag: insert a tag into your homepage HTML
- Verification file: host a small file on your website
Verification codes valid for 14 days. If yours expires, restart the process.
Verified status and permissions
Once verified, you become the listing owner (assuming it was previously unowned). The Verified badge appears on your profile—a signal that you control the domain. Note: Verified status is distinct from paid placement and user votes. It cannot be transferred or traded.
As owner, you gain edit permissions for all listing data, release telemetry, and profile settings.

- Return to /claim/<listing> and select your verification method again. Codes are valid for 14 days from issue.
