Find Google Workspace licenses you pay for and nobody uses
A read-only app that identifies unused Google Workspace licenses and prices them in euros, including idle seats, unassigned licenses, oversized plans, and
Overview

A look at workspaceradar.com
WorkspaceRadar helps organizations audit their Google Workspace licenses by identifying unused seats and unnecessary costs. The app analyzes idle seats based on actual Gmail, Drive, and Chat activity over 90 days, finds unassigned paid licenses, detects plans larger than needed, and flags shared mailboxes using paid seats. It also identifies security gaps like admin accounts without two-step verification and mail forwarding outside the domain.
The application is read-only and cannot remove or modify licenses—all actions are performed by the user in the Google Admin console. Data is stored in Ireland (AWS eu-west-1) and kept for 12 months, with disconnect deleting all data immediately. Users can set custom pricing in their local currency (euros, US dollars, or pounds) to calculate actual savings.

FAQ
- Does WorkspaceRadar remove licenses?
- No. WorkspaceRadar only reads data. Removing or reassigning licenses is done by the user themselves in the Google Admin console, never through the app.
- How does WorkspaceRadar determine if a seat is idle?
- It uses Google's per-user usage reports to check for sign-ins, Gmail, Drive, and Chat activity across four report dates over the last 90 days. A seat is idle only when every sampled date shows no activity; a recent sign-in alone does not count as use.
- Does WorkspaceRadar read email or file contents?
- No. It reads only counts and dates per account, such as whether an account showed Gmail activity on a specific day, never the actual content of emails, files, calendars, or chats.
- Can organizations save money on annual Google Workspace plans?
- Usually not until renewal. On annual or multi-year commitments, licenses cannot be reduced mid-term. WorkspaceRadar shows what can be released at renewal and when savings can be realized.
- Where is customer data stored?
- Data is kept in the EU, specifically in Ireland (AWS eu-west-1). Scan history is retained for 12 months, with the two latest scans always available. Disconnecting the domain deletes all workspace data at once.
