The product works without requiring any pixel or script on your client's website—just create a link, share it, and sales data flows back automatically through integrations with tools like Stripe, Zapier, and Calendly.
Every link belongs to one workspace, keeping client data completely separate. Reports can be white-labeled with your brand on paid plans. FAQ
- Do I need to place a pixel or script on my site?
- No, not to count clicks. You open a workspace, create a link, share it, and counting starts immediately. A small snippet only comes in later to tie an identified prospect in your system, but a pixel is not required.
- What happens to my links if Subtraq goes down?
- Your links keep redirecting. Links are distributed by a separate edge network that holds its own copy, so redirection consults neither the application nor the database.
- Can I use my own domain name?
- Yes. A subdomain of your existing domain, such as link.yoursite.com, works perfectly and costs nothing extra. A dedicated very-short domain is a convenience, not a requirement.
- If I switch tools, what happens to my links?
- That is the whole point of the domain: it is yours. You take it with you, and your links go with you. This is the opposite of a free shortener, where the address belongs to the tool and dies with the subscription.
- What is a “branded address”, exactly?
- By default your short links read sbtq.link/a7Bq. With a branded address they read links.yoursite.com — or go.theclient.com, under your client's name. It's a subdomain you already own: you add one line at your DNS host, we verify it, and it's live. On paid plans you get one per client workspace, because a client delivered properly has one of their own; the free plan gives one, to try it out.
