Staxly
Discover, secure and govern your cloud
Cloud security and governance platform that groups Azure infrastructure into applications, identifies security issues against CIS benchmarks, and applies fixes
Overview

A look at staxly.io
Staxly helps cloud teams manage security and compliance without the fear of breaking production. It organizes your Azure resources into the applications your teams actually own by analyzing real network connections, shows what each security fix could affect before approval, and applies changes only when a named person approves them. Every fix is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail. The platform checks against CIS Microsoft Azure benchmarks and contributes evidence toward SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA and CMMC compliance. It requires no credentials, nothing to install, and you can export everything in standard Terraform format when you leave.
Feature notes
- Maps Azure infrastructure into applications based on actual network connections and configuration
- Shows confidence levels for each connection: traffic, configuration, or naming only
- Proposes security fixes as pull requests for engineers to review in their Terraform code
- Detects when fixes are changed back by hand
- Authenticates through Entra ID workload identity federation without storing credentials
- Exports audit records and fixes in standard Terraform format
- Checks against CIS Microsoft Azure security benchmarks
- Flags unusual failures in applications when monitoring is enabled

FAQ
- What counts as a subscription?
- One Azure subscription as Azure counts them. If you run production, staging and a sandbox in three subscriptions, that is three.
- Does Staxly need credentials to my cloud?
- No. Staxly authenticates through Entra ID workload identity federation, so there is nothing in the database that could be stolen and you can revoke the trust at any time.
- Will this get me through an audit?
- Not on its own. Staxly contributes technical evidence toward SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, PCI DSS v4.0, HIPAA Security Rule and CMMC 2.0, but policies, training and sign-offs are yours.
- Can I stop paying and keep what I have?
- Yes. The fixes Staxly applies are ordinary Azure configuration that stay in your subscription. You can export your evidence trail at any time and nothing of Staxly remains when you leave.
