Overview

A look at servor.app
Servor is a server management console for teams running 2 to 50 servers. It provides a web terminal that survives browser tab closures, a file editor with atomic saves, scheduled commands (cron), uptime monitoring with 11 check types, public status pages, incident management, and alerting to 20 destinations. Commands are signed in your browser with Ed25519 keys and verified on the machine before execution, with no inbound SSH port required. Credentials are encrypted end-to-end in your browser using AES-256-GCM before leaving your machine, and Servor stores only encrypted blobs it cannot read. The platform includes 150+ verified recipes for common operations, an AI copilot for planning and approving changes, and an append-only, hash-chained audit log. The agent connects outbound only, making it suitable for servers behind NAT or VPN.

FAQ
- Can Servor's backend run commands on my servers?
- No, by design. Every command is signed in your browser with a key derived from your vault; the backend only relays the signed grant, and the agent on your machine verifies the signature before executing. A fully compromised Servor backend cannot run a command.
- What does zero-knowledge mean for credential storage?
- Your SSH credentials, API keys and secrets are encrypted in your browser with a key derived from your passphrase using Argon2id and AES-256-GCM. Servor only stores encrypted blobs that cannot be decrypted without your passphrase or 24-word recovery phrase.
- Does Servor work with servers behind NAT or VPN?
- Yes. The agent installed on the machine initiates an outbound WebSocket connection to Servor. No inbound port needs to be opened, no firewall rule added, and no client-side network configuration required.
- How is Servor different from Ansible or Terraform?
- Servor is an operational console for day-to-day diagnostics and interventions, not a provisioning tool. Where Ansible and Terraform describe desired state, Servor provides a terminal, file editor, monitors and incidents for ongoing management. Many teams run both.
- How does billing work?
- Operations costs €9/month and AI €29/month, each including one seat; extra seats cost €9/month on either plan. Seats are prorated when added and removed at period end. AI credit top-ups carry over with no expiry. The Free plan is permanent for 2 servers, not a trial.
