What is HW Connector?

HW Connector is a program consisting of HW agent software on a local workstation and HW cloud service. The agent provides a single REST API at localhost:7790 that gives web applications, 1C, and any program access to cash registers, payment terminals, SBP, barcode marking, printers, scanners, scales, displays and sensors. The cloud consolidates all workstations in a single dashboard and transmits commands, printing jobs and receipts from the server.

Which cash registers does HW agent support?

HW agent supports ATOL (via DTO10 driver), Shtrikh-M and compatible models (Retail, ELVES), Pirite 2F, Viki Print, Dreamkas-F, KIT Online-F, Terminal-FA and Mercury. Many work directly via protocol without the manufacturer's driver. It supports fiscal receipt formats FFD 1.05-1.2 for sales, returns, expenses, corrections, X-reports and Z-reports with a single receipt format for all models.

Can HW agent work with 1C accounting software?

Yes. If 1C was working with KKM-Server over HTTP, no changes are needed because the agent understands the same commands. For custom modifications, there is an external processing HwConnector.epf and an API client for 1C, though there is not yet an external component for the Pluggable Equipment Library.

How can receipts be printed and issued from a server without a browser on the cash register?

This is possible through HW cloud. The agent maintains an outbound connection to the cloud so no white IP, VPN or open ports are needed. The server calls the agent API through https://cloud.hw-connector.ru/agent/api/v1/ with an API key, or sends the receipt to Cloud Receipts where it will print on your cash register; if the register is offline it waits in queue.
