Quality.Noted audits macOS applications for release readiness using Claude Code, which you run on your own machine. It evaluates app source code through multiple phases—static analysis, functional testing, and distribution-channel-specific checks—producing a readiness score out of 100, ranked findings with confidence tags, and action items you can paste into Claude Code for fixes. The tool supports apps built for Mac App Store, Homebrew, or direct download, with optional support for apps built with other AI tools or by hand.
The audit follows seven ISTQB software testing principles and offers three depth levels: Quick (critical issues only, 7–13 minutes), Standard (key flows and high-severity findings, 20–35 minutes), and Thorough (all source files and edge cases, 45–65 minutes). Results include a severity-ranked findings list, tracked findings history across runs, manual test walkthroughs, and an insights dashboard showing readiness trends and defect hotspots. Your code never leaves your machine; Claude Code runs under your own Claude account.

FAQ
- Does Quality.Noted change my code?
- No. The audit is instructed to write only to the QualityNoted-QA folder. It runs Claude Code as you without permission prompts, so you should commit before auditing. Fixes only happen when you paste action items into your own Claude Code session.
- Is my code sent anywhere?
- Not by Quality.Noted. Claude Code reads your project and sends it to Anthropic under your own account, exactly as when you use Claude Code yourself.
- Does a passing score mean my app has no bugs?
- No. An audit finds defects but cannot prove there are none. A score of 85 or more with no open Critical or High findings in what was checked indicates readiness to ship, but Files Read shows coverage and the Tester Walkthrough covers what only a person can judge.
- What is the refund policy?
- If Quality.Noted is not right for you, email support within 21 days of purchase for a full refund with no questions asked. Your license reverts to the free version and audit results remain on your Mac.
