- What happens to my app if Featureflip goes down?
- Server SDKs hold flag configuration in memory and evaluate it in-process, so flag checks never wait on a call to Featureflip. If unreachable, the SDK continues evaluating against the last configuration received, and flags return the default value you specified. The SDK reconnects automatically with exponential backoff and pulling a full configuration snapshot, so flags changed during an outage get picked up without restarting processes.
