- Which file formats can I upload?
- Users can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF/AVIF, TIFF and BMP files, up to 50 MB. A 10-megapixel phone photo is sufficient, and very large photos are compressed automatically on upload.
- Does ExamIDPhoto replace or fix photo backgrounds?
- Compliant photos are never altered and leave the servers pixel-identical. For fixable photos with off-white, shadowed or slightly cluttered backgrounds, the service delivers an automatic plain-white background version with every change disclosed on the result page so users decide whether to use it. UK visas and some other documents ban background replacement, so non-compliant backgrounds are rejected instead.
