What is llms.txt and do we need one?

llms.txt is a short text file at the root of your site that tells AI tools who you are and which pages matter. It is optional: Google says its search does not use it, and there are no official statements from OpenAI, Anthropic or Perplexity that their answers do. However, it is cheap to add compared to crawler access and structured data, which matter more.

Is my data sent anywhere when I use the llms.txt generator?

No. The file is put together in your browser. Nothing you type leaves your device until you upload the file yourself.

What does progress mean in the guarantee?

Progress means a higher share of your 30 frozen questions in which you are named, in at least one engine, measured exactly as at the start. If it is not higher on day 90, you do not pay for month four.

Can we start with one language and add more?

Yes. Start with the market that matters most and add languages when you are ready; you move up to Category Leader for more than two languages or markets.
