Open Analytics
Privacy-first Google Analytics alternative with no cookies, no consent banner, and open-source code
Open Analytics is a privacy-first, cookieless web analytics platform that tracks visitors, funnels and revenue in real-time without requiring consent banners.
Overview

A look at getopen.so
Open Analytics provides web analytics that respect visitor privacy without cookies or personal data collection. It offers real-time dashboards showing visitors, referrers, pages, and revenue attribution, with funnels, live globe visualization, and AI chat to query your data in plain English.
The platform is available as a fully hosted cloud service or can be self-hosted using the open-source AGPLv3 codebase. Installation is a single script tag with no SDK or build step required. Every plan includes all features including revenue tracking, core web vitals, visitor journeys, campaigns and UTMs, weekly digests, and team roles, differing only in monthly event limits and site count.
Open Analytics collects only pageviews, referrers, devices and custom events, never names, emails or advertising IDs. Visitors are counted with daily-rotating anonymous hashes so no profile follows anyone between days or sites. The service respects privacy signals like Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.

FAQ
- Do I need a cookie consent banner?
- No. The tracker sets no cookies and collects nothing personal, so there is nothing to ask consent for. Your site stays banner-free everywhere, including the EU.
- Can I self-host it?
- Yes. Open Analytics is open source and can run on your own infrastructure with your own keys, or use the hosted cloud version. It is the same product and dashboard either way.
- What do you store about my visitors?
- Pageviews, referrers, devices and the events you send are stored. Never a name, an email or an advertising ID. Visitors are counted with a daily-rotating anonymous hash, so no profile follows anyone between days or between sites.
- Can I bring my history from another tool?
- Yes. You can upload the export from Plausible, Fathom and other supported tools as a single ZIP. Nothing reaches your dashboard until you have reviewed exactly what it contains, and one click rolls it back.
- How does revenue attribution work?
- Connect Stripe or Polar with a read-only credential and from then on every payment lands beside the visit that produced it, so you see which pages, channels and campaigns actually earn.
