A look at kanunilabs.com

KanuniLabs is a small independent software company that provides two components: a pivot table and a data grid for React and JavaScript. Both components handle millions of rows efficiently through virtual scrolling, which keeps only the visible window in the DOM. The components feature Web Worker offload for filtering and sorting on large datasets, columnar encoding using typed arrays, and support for server-side data loading.

The company offers a free Community edition with no license key, watermark, or expiry date, including commercial use rights. Paid tiers unlock Enterprise features such as multi-level grouping, master-detail views, styled Excel and PDF export, inline editing with validation, and custom calculated columns. A single paid license covers both components across unlimited end-user applications.

FAQ

What is free in KanuniLabs?
The Community edition of both components (DataGrid and PivotGrid) is free with no key, no watermark, no expiry date, and commercial use is allowed. Every feature is listed in the pricing table showing which edition it needs.
What happens when a subscription ends?
You keep the last version you paid for, and applications already shipped with it stay licensed. You stop receiving new versions and support, but nothing you have deployed stops working or starts showing a watermark.
Can I ship the library inside a product I sell?
Yes, you can compile it into your application. However, you may not redistribute the package itself, your registry token, or your license key.
Who counts as a developer for licensing purposes?
Every person who writes or modifies code that uses the library needs a seat. Designers, testers, product managers and CI machines do not. A contractor writing code for you counts as one of your seats for the duration of the work.
Does KanuniLabs offer refunds?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase you get a full refund for any reason. The Refund Policy page explains how to ask and what happens to the license.
