Hushtop is a native Swift app for Mac that repurposes your MacBook's notch as a calm, always-glanceable display. It shows your current music with synced lyrics from LRCLIB, upcoming meetings with Zoom integration, AirPods connection status, timers, and real-time monitoring of Claude Code and Codex AI agents including usage limits and session status. The app includes Mochi, an on-screen pet that learns your routine, provides morning briefs and evening recaps, and responds to voice commands. It also displays system vitals, clipboard history, messages, weather, and a world clock. Hushtop is designed with privacy as a core principle: no telemetry, no tracking, all data stays on your Mac, and it requires only one Accessibility permission at setup. It works on any Mac running macOS 15 or later, with Intel support in beta, and shows a floating island on displays without a notch.

- Which Macs does it run on?
- Hushtop runs on any Mac with macOS 15 or later. Apple silicon runs all features, with the Liquid Glass theme and Apple Intelligence in Mochi's chat available on macOS 26. Intel Macs are supported in beta.
- Is Hushtop safe to install?
- Yes. Hushtop is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any standard downloaded app. Updates are also signed and come only from hushtop.app.
- What music apps does it work with?
- Hushtop works with Spotify, Apple Music, and music playing in a browser tab. Synced lyrics are optional and come from LRCLIB once enabled.
- What data does Hushtop collect?
- Hushtop collects no telemetry and no tracking. To check your license, it sends only your license key, an anonymous Mac ID and its version. All other data stays in your Mac's Library folder and Keychain, with features requiring internet staying off until you enable them.
- Does Hushtop work on a Mac without a notch?
- Yes. On a display without a notch, Hushtop shows a small floating island at the top of the screen instead, which you can turn off in Settings.
