BadgeRelay

Publish directory badges without redeploying

A dashboard for managing and publishing directory badges on websites without code redeployment.

Overview

A look at badgerelay.com

BadgeRelay allows indie makers to manage directory badges in one place instead of editing their codebase repeatedly. Users install a single lightweight script on their site, then collect, arrange, and publish badges through a dashboard. Changes take effect instantly without redeploying, and the embed renders badges server-side so that crawlers and verification bots can read them. The service offers layouts including rows, carousels, and compact options, with attribution removal available on paid plans.

Feature notes

  • Server-rendered embed for crawler visibility
  • Instant badge updates without redeployment
  • Multiple layout options (row, carousel, compact)
  • Works with Next.js and static sites
  • One-line code installation
  • Backlink preservation for directory verification
  • Attribution removal on paid plans

Pricing

Pricing model: Freemium

Free: $0/mo (1 website, 10 active badges, includes Powered by BadgeRelay attribution). Portfolio: $6/mo (10 websites, 100 active badges, removes attribution). Studio: $12/mo (50 websites, unlimited active badges, removes attribution). Yearly billing saves two months.

FAQ

Do directory crawlers see the badges?
Yes. BadgeRelay renders badges into the page HTML on the server, so crawlers and verification bots can read them without waiting on client-side JavaScript.
What do I install on my site?
Add one BadgeRelay server component or HTML fragment to your layout, usually in the footer. After that, you manage badges from the dashboard instead of redeploying.
How fast do badge changes go live?
Badge changes publish instantly. When you publish, reorder, or remove a badge in the dashboard, the next request to your embed reflects the change with no site redeploy required.
Does this work with Next.js and static sites?
Yes. Use the React server component embed in Next.js, or the HTML fragment on other stacks that can fetch server-rendered markup.
What happens if I cancel a paid plan?
Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep your paid plan until the current month or year ends, then the account returns to Free. Paid time already billed is not refunded.
