- Will Alterable™ hurt my deliverability?
- No. Alterable™ content is delivered as standard images, the same kind your ESP already sends. There is no JavaScript in the email, and nothing changes about your sending domain or authentication. Personalization happens on Alterable™'s image servers at open time.
- What if a subscriber blocks images?
- They see what they would see with any image email: the alt text, and the rest of the email renders normally. Alterable™ recommends meaningful alt text and keeping key details like dates and prices in text alongside the image.
- What counts as an impression?
- Each Alterable™ element counts once every time an email is opened and the element loads, including repeat opens. An email with a timer and a map is two impressions per open. Apple Mail's privacy protection loads images as the email arrives, so those loads count too, the same way the ESP counts them as opens.
- Do I need to switch ESPs or change my workflow?
- No. Paste one image tag into existing templates in Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or any ESP. Define the rules in the visual builder, embed the snippet, and that is the whole integration.
